About Sally
My name is Sally Tyler and I have been qualified in Complimentary therapies since 1997. I work within clinics as well as have my own practice and I am a non-practising Staff Nurse.
Oriental Body Balance (OBB) uses a spider's web in its corporate design to infer the interactive nature of the whole body and the interactive nature of our therapies.
The body is a holistic system of bones, muscle, internal organs, energy and the mind, they all need to be in balance to support each other. A change in one system will affect all the others.
OBB prides itself on the use of proven techniques and research from around the world. Our aim is to get directly to the point, both in our training courses and in the treatment protocol.
Before I became interested in therapies, while I worked within the National Health Service; first as a Health Care Assistant, then qualified as an Enrolled Nurse, then as a Staff Nurse.
During my years within the NHS, I became interested in the different ways the body tried to heal itself, given the right instructions the body would unwind and become balanced or as near balanced as it could. This ignited my passion for Complimentary Therapies. Orthodox and therapies can work hand in hand to help the body resolve its problems, we work as a team, it's finding the right balance for the body
While building up my clientele, I became an Adult Education tutor, teaching qualification courses to adults who wanted to start their own business within the complementary field. I still teach one course a term as well as run Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses privately.
I use my spare time to update my qualifications to ensure that I keep up to date with the market and I pass this knowledge on to my clients get the best possible treatment to help them on their journey to wholeness.
